TPA True Price Action – WHAT’S NEW IN VER. 2.3

In the latest version of the TPA True Price Action indicator ver. 2.3 we have made the following changes:

we have removed the long-term filter

As it turned out to confuse the majority of the community and it catches the moves too late and tends to miss profitable exits.

we corrected the fragment in the code regarding the color of the TPA line

now after setting custom color for TPA line after changing timeframe or symbol the last selection is remembered

unified text with TPA Line parameters in the tooltip tooltip after hovering the mouse pointer over the line.

added new alert when the price is approaching / hitting / crossing the TPA line

In the latest version, we can set a notification on the screen (text + sound), email or mobile phone when the price is close to the TPA line (approaching, touching or crossing).

We can choose the following parameters:

• Alert at TPA Line – show text info and play sound alert when the price is approaching / hitting / crossing the TPA line
• E-mail at TPA Line – send email message when the price is approaching / hitting / crossing the TPA line
• Notification at TPA Line – show mobile notification when the price is approaching / hitting / crossing the TPA line
• Price Distance (in pips) – here we can define the distance the price must approach to the TPA line in order to trigger an alert.

Let’s consider 3 setup examples. If we set:

1. Price Distance = 3 pips (positive value), then the alert is triggered when the current candle opens above the TPA line and the price approaches the TPA line from the top by 3 pips or if the current candle opens below the TPA line and the price goes up to the TPA line by 3 pips.

2. Price Distance = 0 pips (zero value), then the alert is triggered whenever the price is equal to the TPA line (touch TPA Line).

3. Price Distance = -3 pips (negative value), then the alert is triggered when the current candle is open above the TPA line and the price is 3 pips below the TPA line or if the candle opens below the TPA line and the price is 3 pips above the TPA line (cross TPA Line).
